Idumaese Alao Foundation is delighted to announce the winners of the Idumaese Alao Prize for Literature 2025. They are Blessing Omeiza Ojo, Marvellous Mmesomachi Igwe, and Sa’ada Isa Yahaya. Ojo’s “Fact-Based Journalism about Creation & Extinction” was chosen by the judge Osieka Osinimu Alao as the winner, while Igwe’s “Hiroshima Eden” and Yahaya’s “The Origin of Denouement” as first and second runners-up respectively. The winner gets One Hundred Thousand (100 000) Naira, while the runners-up get Fifty Thousand (50 000) Naira each. Also, the 2025 anthology titled ÒBÒRÒ is live and available for a free download.
