Blessed be the Hands Wriggling for a Mother’s Last Act of Kindness
It would be her last act of kindness
to her mother, but
she could not have known this then.
~HUMANGLE MEDIA
i saw you again, Falmata. misplaced from wrath of the West.
little eyes, sturdy red lips –of blood congealed into loss hour.
i saw him, too. running with the wind curse. it’s how we forget
the little flesh nobody owns aren’t everyone’s plume warmth on
the palms. every twist of your silence bleeds. the earth, never
undo a dagger used in action with the blood for remembrance.
the nose of the earth, filled with your killer’s scent. it’s evident,
no one hides the debt of blood inside the heart. & here you’re,
unwinding like memory strands. your grave door, an open letter
for world’s elegy. mother will lift the world in your picturesque.
the end of your beginning. of blood scriptures. in Bama, where
a father short lived the bloodstream of a daughter. in an unholy
silence, where fear wrapped in full, –mournful mothers. in Falmata’s
smiling memory, reopens the west sun. gory of earth’s color & red.
